Coconut Vinegar

I am a believer of Apple Cider Vinegar or plain White Vinegar. It truly keeps my dandruff at bay when I use it religiously. I saw this Coconut Vinegar browsing on Vitacost years ago and never got it until recently. I'm intrigued to see how this works out with my protective styles. Whenever I am in a protective style and my scalp is accessible , I use only a ACV to keep my scalp free and breathable. Whenever I take my style down , the hair is in better condition than if I had used something heavier with oils in it.

Coconut Secret Organic Raw Coconut Vinegar Description
More Nutritious Than Apple Cider Vinegar
100% Organic
High in FOS
Made From Raw Coconut Tree Sap

Health Secrets of Coconut Vinegar
When the coconut tree is tapped it produces a highly nutrient-rich "sap" that exudes from the coconut blossoms. This sap is very low glycemic, and is an abundant source of 17 amino acids, minerals, vitamin C, broad-spectrum B vitamins, and has a nearly neutral pH.

Small batches ensure that our raw, certified organic Vinegar made from this natural sap, is an unheated, enzymatically alive product, naturally aged for 8 months to one year. Coconut Vinegar nutritionally exceeds other vinegars in its amino acid, vitamin and mineral contents, and is an excellent source of FOS (a prebiotic that promotes digestive health).

I will keep my recipe very simple.

1 tablespoon of Coconut Vinegar
1 cup of water.

Brand Ambassador : Sarenzo Bath and Body

I am happy to say that I am now a Brand Ambassador for Sarenzo Bath and Body. I have been a fan of this company for a few years now. In the near future, I will start to blog about items that I have purchased and continue to buy. If you are not a follower of mine on Instagram, please join me over there as well.  I tend to post a lot of reviews and pictures of items that I love because of the ability and ease of Instagram to share content with your followers.

Due to my son and I having really dry and sensitive skin, we only use three brands in the house that have proven to be tried and true over the years. Those three companies are,  Nubian Heritage, Shea Moisture and Sarenzo Bath and Body for our skin care, feminine care and facial care.

I love the ingredients that are added to the body care items as well as the scents. Its almost to the point where I would like to have a scratch and sniff on the screen when ordering because the company offers such a wide variety of fragrances.

I've been protective styling so much that I have narrowed my hair products down to items that I get locally so I don't frequent the companys hair product side as much as I do the skincare but please do not let that stop you. They are one of the few companies that do not put shea butter in their products and I LOVE it.

Stay tuned for sale information as well as any new and upcoming products from the line.

My favorite and body  staple items are as listed below,

Product Review: Terra Veda Organix

I came across this line on Long Hair Care Forum and reached out to the owner and was able to receive a sample bundle to review. To stay I am highly impressed is putting it lightly. Each product used as directed in the direction insert had my hair curly from start to finish. Each curl was hydrated and fully defined.

If you are a followed of the Maximum Hydration method, then this line is just for you. You do not have to figure out which items to use, the entire line up is geared to fully hydrate your hair. If you would like to see the unboxing of the sample bundle, it can be viewed here

There are two different sample/full size bundles available on the website. I received sample bundle #2 due to the fact that my curls tend to tangle quite easily.  In the bundle was:

Step 1 - Hair Nectar
Review: This smells like the ACV thats in it but boy does it soften up dirty hair. It was the first step and I was eager to try the rest of the products after rinsing this out.

Review: I like the hold of this product but I'm very heavy handed. It was hard to not apply a lot because I wanted to save enough for a second application. I was leery of leaving it in because of the coconut but with the use of the banana slip detangler, my hair was very touchable the next day.

Final Review
These products are simply amazing for putting moisture into your hair. The directions that came with the bundle were easy and I was able to follow along and use it items as described.  I only left each product on for 20 minutes under a conditioning cap while I did my normal daily routine. I highly recommend these if your hair is thirsty and in need of maintaining your moisture levels. I had to skimp the second time with the gelee because upon first use I wasn't sure I would have enough to get two uses out of my sample. If I was a twist natural, I would have been able to do it  but I'm lazy and a washandgo is easy to do, lol. The gelee dried in my soft and was soft to touch. The next day, I water rinsed and it reactivated the curls.
If you're leery of the price, please try a sample bundle. Its enough to tempt you to dive in. I will be trying more of this line in the immediate future. A solid A plus from me!
