Coconut Nectar ...anyone?

I was minding my business, as usual and saw this. I have got to try this out. Can you imagine this yummy goodness in a henna mix , or a deep conditioning treatment , heck I might even eat it. Yum!

Delicious organic and raw coconut sap/nectar . When the coconut tree is tapped, it produces a highly nutrient-rich inflorescence (naturally flowing juice or "sap") that exudes from the coconut blossoms.  This sap is very low glycemic (GI of only 35), diabetic-friendly, is an abundant source of amino acids, minerals, vitamin C, broad-spectrum B vitamins, and has a nearly neutral pH.

Health Secrets of Coconut Nectar

Small batches ensure that our organic, low glycemic Nectar, made from this natural sap, is a raw, enzymatically alive product, minimally evaporated at low temperatures for 1 hour (only to remove excess moisture), never exceeding an average summer day in the tropics.  By contrast, most agave syrup is hydrolyzed at temperatures up to 140 degrees F. for approximately 36 hours (the end product containing 90% fructose, compared to coconut nectar which is only 16% sucrose).

Recipe Tip: The naturally sweet, mild flavor of our Nectar is an ideal sweetener for use on pancakes, over cereal, in tea and all your favorite dessert recipes!
