Calendula Black Soap Wash

1 teaspoon of Calendula flower powder
1 teaspoon of Black Soap
1 teaspoon of Aloe Vera Gel
1 tablespoon of Aloe Vera Juice

Mix together and let sit in order for the black soap to dissolve. Usually after 24 hours the black soap is completely dissolved but as I am going out soon I kept mixing until the mix started to foam.( which lets me know the soap is breaking down with the other ingredients.

  • Calendula is  natural herb which is transformed into oils, gel and ointment to cure gastritis, eczema, wounds, sunburn and stings. Research shows that the use of calendula can help improve blood flow in the body, especially in affected skin areas. This helps renew and rebuild the skin.
  • People with dry broken skin are more likely to get benefitted from calendula since it is a great skin healer. It can very well cure skin irritations because of its antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties.
  • People who are faced with acne problems can also be benefited from calendula since it serves as a great way to cure acne.
Please do a skin test prior, also black soap can be very drying so be sure to follow up with a moisturizing oil or moisturizer for your face after washing.

This sounds really nice. I'm might give this a try - have to find some calendula powder first though (can find extracts). Any alternative powders you recommend?
