The best SheaMoisture hair masque: Purification Hair Masque

Now I've tried all of the other masques released by SheaMoisture and while I liked them, none of them have tickled my fancy until now. This stuff is amazing. It has a nice slip , dissolves into hair, and softens my hair as a prepoo. I can only imagine how it will work as a deep conditioner. I think the kicker is CLAY, its too early in the game but this dare I say knock Darcy Botanicals out the box for me

Deionized Water , Cocos Nucifera Oil (Coconut) , Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter) , Mangfera Indica Seed Butter (Mango) , Persea Gratissima Oil (Avocado) , African Black Soap Extract , Sea Salt , Cetyl Esters , Kaolin Clay , Grapeseed Oil , Simmondsia Chinensis Seed Oil (Jojoba) , Behentrimonium Chloride (Conditioner) , Salicylic Acid , Salix Alba Bark Extract (Willow) , Melia Azadirachta Seed Oil (Neem) , Melaleuca Alternifolia Leaf Oil (Tea Tree) , Sorbitol Esters , Aloe Vera Leaf Juice , Tocopherol (Vitamin E) , Rosemary Extract , Salvia Officinalis Extract (Sage) , Plantain Extract , Lonicera Caprifolium Flower and Lonicera Japonica Flower Extract (Honeysuckle and Japanese Honeysuckle)

It's actually a shame that I tried ALL of the other ones before this. I put this stuff on my hair and it seemed like my hair was dead and this masque was a life potion (like on the video games :)) The sad thing is....I can NEVER find this stuff at Walgreens OR Target...all I see all the time is that stinkin Hibiscus line...SHEESH!

Oh I have to try this one. Is it at Target or Walgreen's?

the only SM masque I've used is the deep treatment hair masque but it feels so dry I have to add honey to it.

Love this stuff too! Funny, it was the last masque of theirs I tried as well. I usually end up mixing the DT and Thickening one with Curl Junkie's Deep Fix.

This sounds like good stuff but I'm always afraid to try clay in dreads. The hardening would worry me, and not being able to rinse it out cleanly.

Do any dreadheads have experience with this?

I do know its very creamy ,and it doesnt have that gritty texture to it. I think you would be safe to use it or maybe dilute it if its too creamy for you?
