Remix your glycerin/humectant use for the Winter

I bring this up just about every fall season before winter hits. Here is my post last year

  1. Use your humectant products prior to taking a shower/bath. The steam will allow the humectants to pull its moist from there instead of your hair.
  2. If your moisturizer has humectants in them, be sure to seal correctly with an oil based product and that will ensure your hair has sealed in the moisture.
  3. If all else fails you can use them still as prepoos/deep treatments along with steamers, heating masks, or the good ole sauna at the gym.

I am so excited to be in a place that I can use humectants in the winter because of all the humidity.

Thanks for the reminder. I live in NYC and never had that big of a problem using my products with glycerin but I'm also a heavy sealer, so that could be it.

Great reminder. I will kill the KBB fake milk stash exactly thus. :)
