OyinHandmade Hair Dew versus Qhemet Biologics Moringa Tree Conditioning Ghee

Ok so I purchased both of these around the same time frame.  The Hair Dew I had to purchase online as Oyin doesnt have a store local to me. I had been hearing non stop raves about the Hair Dew and was dying to purchase it but I've been hearing the same about the Moringa Tree Conditioning Ghee as well. I didnt think of both of these as doing the same thing but now that I have been using both of these for over two weeks , it seems that these are comparable in how they are performing in my hair  except for one area.

Oyin claims that this creamy, conditioning leave-in is light enough for every day. it's great on 'naked' hair immediately after a cleanse, or as a way to reinvigorate tired hair all the way through your hair care cycle.

ingredients: purified water, castor oil, olive oil, organic aloe vera gel, behentrimonium methosulfate (emulsifier), coconut oil, olive squalane, optiphen (preservative), cetyl alcohol, and love!

8oz for $12.00
It is great on naked hair after immediately washing but what I'm finding is unless I'm in a protective style this will not be enough moisture for me to use alone
I  would have to layer another product over my hair ( sealer ) to keep my hair moist.  Now when I say not in a protective style , I mean , twistout , braidout , puff, things of that nature.
What it does do is , it refreshes my hair when Im in a rush or softens my hair prior to styling it. You do get more product for your money versus Qhemet Biologics Conditiong Ghee
Qhemet Biologics claims Our creamy, versatile conditioner nourishes, softens and detangles thick, dry hair and this versatile conditioner can be used in several ways.

ingredients distilled water,, virgin organic coconut oil ,behentrimonium methosulfate ,cetyl alcohol, PPG-3 Benzyl ether myristate, quatermary conditioner, moringa oil, lavendar oil , msm ,amla, brahmi, nettle, burdock, oatstraw, phenoxyethanol &ethylhexylglycerin

5oz for $14.00 ( I pay $15.99 locally)

This is a versatile product, I havent used it to detangle but as I'm applying it as a leave in , my hands glide right through, It easily absorbs into my hair and you cant even tell youve added it ,so you can wind up using more than you think. I can use this on loose and protective styled hair alone and it leaves my hair soft. I like this alot. Its surprising because its so thin and creamy you would think at first glance it cant get the job down. it works well as a refresher or leave in, however you can use this as a detangler, deep conditioner , refresher, leave in conditioner

Price wise the Hair dew would win but having to order it drops it out of the race, you only get 5 ozs with Qhemets but its effective and does what it says so for me the Moringa Tree Conditiong Ghee wins.

I've yet to get this product, but once the twisting cream and hair mist are released I'll do a mini haul.

Great review and ITA on the hair dew. Another thing to consider is the dewpoints we've been experiencing. This may perform better in the spring/summer.

When I used the Dew, I had to slather it on DAILY for moisture. I'm anxious to see what the Moringa Ghee will be like.
