January's Henna Mix part 2

OK so after mixing my henna I let it sit all night and this morning at 10am ,I applied it to my hair and then kept it in for 3 hours.  Right before applying I added a little honey to make it smoother as it went on.  I saran wrapped my hair because the plastic keeps the henna moist and not dried out . Its not a bad thing if it dries out , it just takes longer for it to rinse out since the henna hardens almost like clay.

After rinsing out I immediately applied my deep conditioners and sat under the steamer for 15 minutes. I usually sit for 30 minutes but as I was rinsing my hair felt really soft so I didn't really feel like my hair needed too much of the steam and conditioner.  I used Amaka Creations Brahmi and Burdock Hair masque, Spiral Solutions Deeply Decadent Treatment as well as the last of my Vatika oil and some Vatika Frosting . I rewrapped my hair with saran to make it extra moist and then deep conditioned.

After deep conditioning I added my leave in of Qhemet Biologics Moringa Tree Conditioning Ghee, separated my hair , detangled with my Tangle Teezer and then proceeded to twist with Qhemet Biologics Amla & Olive Heavy cream mixed with Olive and Honey Hydrating Balm.
