SheaButter Cottage: The Real Deal

I first heard of SheaButter Cottage on Nappturality. The owner and creator Akua frequently posts offering great advice on not only her own products but any other questions one might have on ingredients, natural hair care and then some. Her website is awesome , I just want to watch her make everything because all of her products sound simply wonderful.  She is also fair trade which I think is just outstanding.  I dont feel the need to wonder if her products are like everything out there because each product sounds simply unique .  Ive been blessed over the last two years to try a couple of her products. The Moringa Hair Pomade , The Ucuuba Hair Pomade and the Tucumba Hair Butter.  ALL , highly nourishing , lovingly made.

* note she also has body products as well

Well just in time for my hair take down from this last 5 week protective style ,  I received an early Black Friday Treat from a friend . I squealed in true product junkie happiness to see the Rosemary Leave In Conditioner that I have had my eye on for some time and a yummy sounding product called Marula Hair Balm. You know what is really awesome about some of Akua's products , they are vegan , fragrance free as well as being natural, What more could you ask for?

A protein rich creamy conditioner with organic Aloevera, Murumuru butter, unrefined Shea butter, Avocado and Jojoba oil for glossy, conditioned and manageable hair.
MURUMURU BUTTER: High in vitamin A, murumuru butter is a solid off-white butter which moisturises and nourishes skin and hair. It helps the skin to retain water by creating a protective film. It adds a natural gloss to dry, damaged hair. We purchase our murumuru butter directly from farmers in the Brazilian Amazon rainforest.
PANTHENOL: Nutrient to strengthen hair

Define your curls with our soft textured fragrance-free & vegan friendly hair balm.
We have taken premium Ghanaian pure unrefined cocoa butter, vitamin c rich marula & papaya oil with a drizzle of agave nectar to give you the ah-marula effect on your hair. A little bit goes a long way and this is best used on damp hair. Does not leave the hair sticky nor waxy - just pure plant softness.

Thank you so much for doing an honest review of this. I’m always skeptical of reviews when the product was given to the reviewer. I’ve been wondering about these products, but I just can’t bring myself to spend the money on them. Looks like I’ll pass on this one. http://blog.soliditytrade.com/
