Taliah Waajids newest Products

So Taliah Waajid has launched new items.  I have to give it to this company. They are affordable and they are local.  In the past my only favorite item was the Taliah Waajid Protective Bodifier Mist. That stuff softens my twists, keeps my kinky twists and nappy weaves so soft.  I never have to worry about moisture with it.  I was a little disappointed to find out the ingredients weren't being listed correctly until the line came to CVS. I'm not that crazy about bad ingredients but I don't go off the deep end about it either. At times I will use products that aren't 100% organic or natural but that's just my choice.

So a week or so ago  I was reading on Naturally Curly about her new items and went to the site to investigate. The Curly Curl Cream ($8.00) and The Great Detangler ($8.00)sounds awesome and you cant beat the price either. So I ordered and it arrived today. I am chuckling because I see now why the ingredients are not listed on the website.  Here are the ingredients that I posted on Naturally Curly as well.

Taliah Waajid Curly Curl Cream Ingredients:
deionized water, peg-75 Shea butter, sage extract, dmdm hydantoin, vegetable glycerin, burdoc protein, sodium polyacrylate, ethylhexyl, trideceth-6 fragrance

The Great Detangler ingredients:

The Great Detangler is made for Curly, Kinky, Wavy and Coily hair textures. The Great Detangler Eliminates tangles on contact. Softens hair, defines curl pattern. Stops breakage while combing curly, kinky, coily and wavy hair. Hair Detangler is rich with moisturizers, protein and conditioners. Coats and protects hair while softening. For best results, use the complete line of Black Earth Products.

Directions: Use on wet or dry hair. Separate a section of hair. Apply a liberal amount of Hair Detangler. Use fingers to work the product through the hair to loosen the tangles. Use a medium to large tooth comb. Start at the ends of the hair. Comb through up to the scalp and through tangles. Style as desired.

I am disappointed in the list of ingredients but like I said , I'm not a stickler for 100% natural. I cant try these products out until the end of November though as I am trying to keep my current protective style in until then. I will however be using my test dummies ( aka friends) this Sunday so look forward to those reviews.

Thanks for this info. I called and requested to see an ingredient list before I would purchase and they said I should email which I did, twice without reply. It's slightly disappointing to see some of the listed ingredients but I still use the Bodifying Mist and Lock it twist gel on occasion. I'm curious to see reviews.
