Going- Natural

If you frequent Nappturality, I'm sure you have heard of Masoesa. I had the chance of meeting her in person in 2008 when Nappturality members had a picnic in New York. She was very down to earth and just the sweetest person I have ever met. She if I'm not mistaken started the Miss Nappturality contest. She also recruits naturals whenever there is a natural hair show, she has a calendar, this woman is every evolving and has made a mark into getting natural hair into mainstream.

Well I have had the pleasure of purchasing some of her products and I am quite impressed. Everyone has heard of the famous shealoe mixture, some mix it up with shea butter, aloe vera and coconut oil , some shea butter and aloe vera gel , heck the mixtures go on and on. If you're not into making your own I would recommend you buying this one. It is so light and fluffy. Its almost like dipping your hand into whipped cream. The only drawback for me is the size. What I can say is , it does last a long time.

The next favorite item I have is the Going Natural Herbal Styling Gel. This gel is a wonder. It has the stickiness of beeswax but it melts into the hair so much better. If you are looking for some hang time with your twists, or you have hair that doesn't stay in styles long then I recommend you try this product out immediately! There isn't a product I can compare this too. Its clear in the jar and you only need a tiny bit of it. Ive had my jar at least 3-4 months and its still 3/4 full. Its almost like a putty when you touch it.There is little to no smell at all and it works great with her shealoe or your own shealoe mixture. Its a great styler because it moisturizes as well.

The ingredients are A water based gel containing oils of Coconut, Olive, Safflower, Peach basil and Aloe; African Shea Butter; extracts of Calendula flowers, Coltsfoot, Horsetail, Birch, Neem, Rosemary and Onions; plant proteins, vegetable placenta extract, Biotin, d-Panthenol, vegetable glycerin, essential oil of Rose and natural preservatives with vitamins A, B, C and E.

If you're into spritzs, then I suggest you get a look at this one here. Its better than Oyins Handmade juices in my opinion , heck I even like it better than Taliah Waajid Protective Bodifier. This is a wonderful spray for protective styling . I used this when I was in kinky twists and that's it. After 2 months , I took my hair down and was very surprised that the length of my hair was as soft as the roots. Great stuff!! I love the smell of this, its hard to explain but it has a scent that's soothing to the nose.

The ingredients are Botanical infusion of Bay Leaf, Clary Sage, Cedar Wood, Rosemary, Nettle, Patchouli, Lavender, Maiden Hair Hydrolyzed collagen, Linoleate, Linoleic acid, Sorbitol, Wheat Germ Oil, Jojoba Oil, Panthenol, Soluble Sulfur and Vitamin E.

Do you think if you live in the NY area that you could pick up rather than have it delivered?

Hi, You would have to reach out to the owner to see if she has that option , I think awhile back she allowed it but I cant speak if that is still an existing option
