Castor Oil Blends

Castor & Moringa Softening Serum from Qhemet Biologics, 2.5 ozs for $10.00, Has pure Moringa Oil and Pure African Castor oil.

The Moringa tree was considered sacred by the ancient Egyptians and associated with the diety Ptah. Known as the most stable natural oil in the world, it is also an excellent source of Behenic acid, a highly effective hair softening and conditioning agent. Moringa seed oil is rich in fatty acids, vitamins A and C and copper and calcium, important nutrients for the skin and scalp.

The oil is rich in fatty acids and is very soothing and lubricating to the skin. It also acts as a humectant attracting moisture to the hair. Castor oil has hair conditioning, thickening and moisturizing properties. It is unique as a natural humectant that delivers intense moisture and softness to dry, brittle hair.

CoCasta Shikakai oil from HairVeda, 8 ozs for $11.00 ,has castor , sweet almond , shikakai , brahmi , amla ,neem and fragrance all in that order.

Castor oil brings such a wonder to all my products, it adds moisture to just about everything I use , whether it be conditioner or a hair butter. I usually use any type of pure Castor oil I don't have a favorite. I can use the kind found in Walgreen's to , Jamaican Black Castor oil to Spanish Castor oil. Its lovely no matter how you or where you get it.

I'm thinking about making a deep conditioner this weekend with Castor oil , vatika frosting, and some Ayurveda powders
